About the course

After attending this course, learners will be equipped with advanced knowledge of security in cloud-based implementations, focusing on cloud security best practices, technologies, frameworks and principles.  This is done in a vendor-neutral manner, allowing practitioners to adapt their knowledge to current and future cloud technologies while continuing to expand their knowledge about security threats and vulnerabilities in cloud computing.

This course aims to impart core knowledge and skills to identify, design, implement and maintain security for cloud-based services through best practices, in compliance with existing cloud security standards. They will also be able to develop risk management plans for cloud services, applications and deployments.

The course will be conducted over 5 days (35 hours) inclusive of instruction and lab exercises.  Participants will take the CCSE at Nanyang Polytechnic at a pre-arranged time after the course.  The CCSE Certification Exam is a 4-hour test with 125 questions. Based on EC-Council’s examination practices, the passing score is set between 60% to 78% depending on the exam’s assessment standard.

Target Participants

Network Security Administrators/Engineer/Analyst, Cybersecurity Engineer/Analyst, Cloud Administrator/Analyst/Engineer, Infosec Professionals, CND Certified Professionals, or any other role that involves network/cloud administration, management, and operations.  Professionals with non-technical background can participate if they have sufficient IT knowledge, obtained either from non-formal relevant courses or on-the-job training.
