About the course
After attending this course, learners will be equipped with knowledge on how to perform an effective penetration testing in an enterprise network environment that must be attacked, exploited, evaded, and defended. CPENT comes with a live practice range that will allow learners to train on IoT systems, OT systems, how to write exploits, build customized tools, conduct advanced binaries for exploitation, double pivot to access hidden networks, and also customize scripts/exploits to get into the innermost segments of the network.
This course is a practical-based preparatory course prepare learners to undertake the CPENT certification practical examination. Learners will undergo both theory and practical sessions to learn advanced knowledge of penetration testing and to gain effective skills in this area.
The course will be conducted over 5 days (35 hours) inclusive of instruction and lab exercises. Participants will take the CPENT on their own with remote proctoring by EC-Council after the course. The CPENT certification exam is a 24-hour (or two 12-hour) session where participants will attempt various challenges, followed by the submissioin of a Pen Test Report within 7 days of the last session.
Target Participants
Ethical hackers, penetration testers, network administrators, security testers, system administrators, cybersecurity analysts and other technical roles. Professionals with non-technical background can participate if they have sufficient IT knowledge, obtained either from non-formal relevant courses or on-the-job training.
