About the course

After attending this course, learners will be equipped with advanced knowledge of identifying and mitigating business risks by converting internal and external threats into quantifiable intelligence in order to mitigate their effects.  They will achieve this through the identification, collection and analysis of  threat intelligence information from various sources, perform data collation and analysis and present the results in actionable form for relevant actions to be taken.

The course will be conducted over 3 days (21 hours) inclusive of instruction and lab exercises.  Participants will take the CTIA at Nanyang Polytechnic at a pre-arranged time after the course.  The CCSE Certification Exam is a 2-hour test with 50 questions. Based on EC-Council’s examination practices, the passing score is set between 60% to 78% depending on the exam’s assessment standard.

Ethical Hackers, Security Practitioners/Engineers/Analysts/Specialists/Architects/Managers, Threat Intelligence Analysts/Associates/Researchers/Consultants, Threat Hunters, SOC Professionals, Digital Forensic and Malware Analysts, Incident Response Team Members.  Professionals with non-technical background can participate if they have sufficient IT knowledge, obtained either from non-formal relevant courses or on-the-job training.
