What You'll Study
Our Diploma in Marketing students did NYP proud at the Pitch It! 2017 Challenge organised by NUS. The team comprising of Freddy Yeow, Valda Ng, and Shenny Chew, wowed the judges from VISA, BBDO, and NUS with a wearable VISA payment solution. Integrating the payment technology with a pair of earphones, the winning idea allows the user to pay for items and/or services without having their music interrupted. The team clinched the respectable position of runners-up, behind the hosts NUS.
Pitch It! is a premier marketing competition for tertiary students organised annually by the NUS Communication and New Media Society. This year's edition was contested by 23 institutes of higher learning and NYP was the only polytechnic team to finish in one of the podium places. We are so proud of our students!
