First, our nursing lecturers were summoned for an 'urgent' meeting to discuss disciplinary issues with DSHS (N) Bella Tan on Tuesday. The real reason? PrimaDeli delivered a 10kg fruit flan cake to honour a group of often-overlooked nurses, the nurses who teach the country's nurses. Check out this video to see how the surprise went down!
Then, on Wednesday, SHS threw a big bash and welcomed all staff and students to join in. Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Health & Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, graced the occasion, gave a heartening speech about nursing, and yes, a cake was cut again. What a sweet week it was for our SHS family.
