NYP and IBM signed a memorandum of understanding to set up the IBM-NYP RFID Integration Zone. The Centre targets to spread the adoption of RFID in the industry and build up skills in RFID through education, training and knowledge transfer.
 

The Centre undertakes industry project development that adopts RFID solutions in their businesses. The RFID Integration Zone also provides state-of-the-art facility to educate NYP students on the business and technical aspects of RFID so as to create high-value skills in Singapore. Students will be trained on RFID architecture, standards, best practices and use of cutting-edge technologies.
 

Through the facility, one will get an insight into how specific business processes and technologies come together to leverage the benefits of RFID, develop proofs-of-concept and gain access to real-world case studies.
