Course Introduction

Singapore has made significant progress in translational and clinical research. Clinical trials have been listed as one of the priority sectors for academic Continuing Educational and Training (CET) by the MOE CET council.

Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) has specially tailored the Specialist Diploma in Clinical Trials Management to provide participants with the ability to play critical roles in Clinical Trial facilities. Emphasis is placed on application–based learning.

In alignment with MOE’s revised CET qualification framework, the Specialist Diploma in Clinical Trials Management is modularized into two post-diploma certificates (PDC) as follows:

  • Post-Diploma Certificate in Clinical Trials Principles
  • Post-Diploma Certificate in Clinical Trials Management

The Post-Diploma Certificate in Clinical Trials Principles focuses on drug discovery process and ethics in conducting clinical trials.

The Post-Diploma Certificate in Clinical Trials Management focuses on trials management and patient oriented skills that are pertinent for the conduct of clinical research.
