Join a distinctive cohort. NYP is the only polytechnic in Singapore to have the national Centre of Innovation for Electronics, which is jointly established with SPRING Singapore. It also has strong collaborations with many reputable multinational companies like Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard. You will learn industry best practices and apply the latest technologies to many innovative applications at our high-tech research and development centres set up by NYP on campus.
The Diploma in Electronics, Computer & Communications Engineering with its balanced curriculum has gained wide recognition from both the industry and reputable universities. As a graduate of this diploma course, you will be able to get up to two years exemption for related undergraduate programmes.
Under our proven curriculum, our students have achieved excellence and won numerous local and international awards and accolades. These include: six championship titles in the FIRA RoboWorld Cup; a world championship title in the prestigious international Microsoft Imagine Cup 2008; top winners at the Singapore Robotics Games 2009, and many more.
Course Aims
The course will equip graduates with:

a strong foundation in electronics and infocomm technologies;

specialist skills in one of the 6 above-mentioned final year elective areas;

abilities to develop their creative and innovative thinking skills, product creation skills and systems/technologies integration skills.
Duration: 3 academic years on a full-time basis.
