Lights up @Marina Bay

You should definitely check out i Light Marina Bay, Asia’s leading sustainable light art festival. Held annually, it showcases sustainable light art installations from Singapore and around the world against Singapore’s iconic Marina Bay skyline. This year, the festival runs from Mar 9 to Apr 1.

Another reason to go? There’s a creation by our students from the Diploma in Interaction Design – Kloud. The interactive light installation uses colours to illustrate the ever-changing nature of human emotions. The installation can respond to the touch of visitors, just like how a human’s emotions can fluctuate and change through interaction. Visitors can also alter the colours of the installation through a web app at klo-ud.com.

The team consists of final and second year students who worked on the project from start to finish. They produced the concept, design and development of the web app, finishing it all in six months.
