The secondary school students enjoyed themselves learning from our SIT students.

Ten final year students from the Diploma in Business Intelligence & Analytics became trainers and mentors in data analytics and visualisation to some 80 secondary school students last week. Why? To prepare the young ones for the IMDA-Tableau National Infocomm Competition (NIC) Face-Off Data Analytics Competition 2017, of which SIT is the supporting partner. Known as one of the most prestigious and largest network of ICT competitions in Singapore, the NIC seeks to deepen students' engagement in ICT skills.

It's no secret now that our lecturers are able to come up with fun and engaging lessons for students. But can they do the same for a group of already-seasoned educators from MOE Academy of Singapore Teachers? It seems so! SIT lecturers infused Pokémon-hunting as one of the activities in a customised Geospatial Technologies training workshop conducted last Thursday.
