From Academic Year (AY) 2026 onwards, the Polytechnic Foundation Programme will be restructured to a cluster-based programme. 

 

After passing the PFP year, you will be posted to an NYP Year 1 course within the cluster or sub-cluster, unless otherwise stated. Posting will be based on merit and course choice.

Prospective PFP students who are interested to enrol in:

 

#Diploma in Oral Health Therapy have to pass a manual dexterity test. 

 

*Diploma in Nursing may be posted via:

  1. Direct selection before entering PFP.
  2. Selection after completing PFP (Sciences cluster). Admission will be based on merit and subject to the availability of vacancies.

Minimum Grade Requirements for NYP PFP

To fulfill the entry requirements for either tracks, you must meet the raw ELMAB3 aggregate of 12 points or lower, before CCA deductions. This includes EnglishMathematics and your Best 3 subjects at your N-Levels. Subjects taken at O-Levels can be combined with your N-Level results to compute your PFP eligibility.
