University Pathway Programme NEW

Through our partnerships with local universities, eligible NYP students can secure early conditional offers and/or module exemptions at the universities.

 

The University Pathway Programme (UPP) fits within your timetable, so you can graduate from NYP on track while experiencing how university modules are taught.

 

How it works:

You may have two options in your final semester at NYP (year 3, semester 2).

  1. Take on the university's modules (offered by NUS, SMU and NTU)
  2. Complete a university immersion project (offered by SUTD)

  • Through the NYP-NUS UPP, eligible final-year students can take three modules offered by the National University of Singapore (NUS) College of Design & Engineering, in place of three NYP learning units.

     

    Eligible diploma programmes include:

  • Through the NYP-NTU UPP, eligible final-year students can take up to three modules offered by Nanyang Technological University, in place of NYP learning units.

     

    Offered by NTU Nanyang Business School to the following NYP diplomas:

     

    Offered by NTU School of Biological Sciences to the following NYP diplomas:

     

    Offered by NTU School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering to the following NYP diplomas:

     

    Offered by NTU School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering to the following NYP diplomas:

    Through the NYP-NTU UPP, eligible final-year students can take up to three modules offered by Nanyang Technological University, in place of NYP learning units.

  • Through the NYP-SMU UPP, eligible final-year students can take two modules offered by Singapore Management University (SMU), in place of NYP learning units.

    Offered by SMU School of Accountancy to the following NYP diplomas:

    • Green Harvesting Exercise NEW

    Be nominated and assessed early while studying at NYP. Secure your conditional offer to your preferred university programme.

     

    Our Diploma in Sustainability in Engineering with Business is the only diploma programme currently offering this exercise in NYP.

     

    How this works:

    • Selected third-year students will be nominated to undergo a two-stage assessment.
    • Nominated students must meet the university's requirements and apply for the specific university programmes as their first choice.

    University Foundation Programme (UFP) NEW

    From critical thinking and professional writing to pre-university subjects, build the knowledge and skills you will need to help prepare for your university matriculation.

     

    How this works:

    • Offered only in Year 3 Semester 2. 
    • Take up to three learning units under the UFP for 12 credit units, in replacement of your final-year project.

    Diploma-Plus Programmes

    Enhance your readiness and competitiveness for university admission by completing specific degree-level modules at NYP.

     

    Acquire specialised skills and advanced knowledge starting in year 1 semester 2, and receive a Dip-Plus Transcript upon graduation that may also exempt you from selected modules at NUS or NTU.

     

    Applicable to selected diplomas only.
