Gain credit exemptions and provisional admission offers when you complete two (2) university modules in your final year, under SMU School of Computing and Information Systems. At NYP, I pursued my passion for IT and made AI more accessible to youths as founder of the NYP AI Interest Group. I benefitted from mentorship and support from alumni and lecturers, which helped me excel in local and international competitions. I also completed a year-long internship with GovTech Singapore, gaining valuable skills and confidence to contribute through technology.
With a strong passion for IT, it was not difficult to decide on NYP School of IT after my O-Levels. Having a brother who graduated from the same school helped me make my decision, especially after witnessing his NYP experience. If I had to choose again, I would still choose NYP's Diploma in Information Technology as my first choice.

One of the hallmarks of the NYP School of IT is its strong partnership with the industry. The design and teaching helped me prepare for a career in IT. These partnerships allowed me to participate in the DBS Tech Apprenticeship programme.
The apprenticeship gave me the opportunity to actively apply the skills and knowledge I have learned throughout my journey at NYP to real-life projects. With both soft and technical skills learnt in NYP, I was able to work on the major projects that have substantial impact on DBS.
