“When preparing for WSS, we often participated in contests – sometimes with other competitors from other countries – to practise our practical AWS skills. WSS was a great experience for me to gain industry-relevant skills. Balancing between school, personal commitments, and WSS was hard, but it taught me how to better manage my time too. In future, I hope I can use what I learnt in WSS in the industry and make a difference.”
- Hayden How Zong Han, Diploma in Information Technology (Year 2 student)

Jackie Soon won Gold in IT Software Solutions for Business
“Preparing myself for this competition was one of my greatest challenges. We spent over a year rigorously developing our skills and learning new technologies. I felt stressed out at times, but my teammates and I persevered with the encouragement and guidance from our coaches. Some of my most cherished memories include enjoyable moments spent with my teammates during meals and gaming sessions. Looking ahead, I hope to keep improving myself and confronting challenges with resilience and determination.”
- Jackie Soon, Diploma in Information Technology (Year 3 student)

“Competing in WorldSkills has been a transformative journey – an opportunity to connect with inspiring competitors and experts who share my passion. Though the competition tested my limits with its intense challenges, the final results filled me with immense pride and joy. Now, I look forward to carrying this momentum forward and achieving even greater success on the international stage.”
- Shum Hoe Yeong, Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics (Year 2 student)
"Looking back on the many hours spent training, I feel that it was an invaluable experience where I got the chance to hone my skills. There were many challenges along the way, but with determination and the help and guidance of my teachers and seniors, I was able to pull through them. Nevertheless, I will continue to improve my skills and always strive to give my best in all future endeavours."
