Doing Our Part for Mental Health
Published on 22 Oct 2018

More than 20 of our Social Sciences (Social Work) students were involved at the MindStories Exhibition – the first of five Mental Health Awareness Learning Series. They engaged members of the public to pen down words of encouragement for people-in-recovery, entertained the children with balloon sculptures, and educated visitors on the importance of mental health and seeking help early. Some of them also lent their voices to perform “Unspoken” – a song they specially composed for their community engagement project on mental health recovery. It was a performance that touched the hearts of those present.
