The Future of Mobility
School of Design & Media Published on 30 Jan 2019

Our School of Interactive and Digital Media (SIDM) students had recently participated in a two-day Hackathon called "Future Mobility Idea Hack Workshop" hosted at Continental Automotive Singapore.

Twenty students from four different diplomas (Animation, Digital Game Art & Design, Interaction Design and Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design) worked in teams of four and tackled the challenge that focused on user experience design (UX).

The students impressed the panel of five judges with their dedication to delivering high-quality presentations – even to the extent of producing 3D models and quick prototypes of apps for their pitches!

The winning team of 4 students (one from each diploma) will further develop their ideas and concepts through a 3-month internship with Continental Automotive Singapore Pte Ltd. in the coming March!

The winning team of students are:

  • Muhammad Hazim Hakim Bin Mazlan from Diploma in Digital Game Art & Design
  • Chua Chu Ning from Diploma in Interaction Design
  • Raine Teo from Diploma in Animation
  • Darryl Tan from Diploma in Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design
