Seal No to Drugs

Serious messages transcend communities and platforms, and can take different forms, even light-hearted ones.

Final-year students from the School of Interactive and Digital Media (SIDM) designed an Augmented Reality mobile game named “Seal No to Drugs” for the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB). The game takes players on a journey to find a seal pup and, along the way, helps them understand the harmful effects of drugs (such as hallucinations and loss of motor-neuro-coordination).

The app is part of CNB’s measures to curb drug abuse and enhance public education for youths through its quirky characters and immersive gameplay.
