Students from the School of Interactive & Digital Media created a game within 24 hours and bagged the top three prizes at the recent James Cook University "Retro Inspired" Game Jam from 8 to 9 Nov.
"Retro Inspired" gives tertiary education students a unique opportunity to showcase their work to well-known professionals. The competition included a 24 hours game jam followed by a public showcase and a seminar by Mike Pondsmith, CEO and Lead Designer of R. Talsorian Games whose notable works are Cyberpunk and Cyberpunk 2077.
