Three students from School of Business Management Diploma in Business Management beat teams from other IHLs and emerged as champions in the Travel & Tourism Business Program (TTBiz) Challenge 2019. Their challenge? They had to collaborate digitally with six team members from Japan and The Philippines to develop a six-day Hiroshima itinerary, mostly over Skype meetings.

Through web conference, the final round of the competition took place on 15 Mar with four teams pitching their ideas to a panel of international industry judges. Their winning idea was a unique itinerary that focuses on a niche but growing market of female travellers from China. The team won an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan.

The competition aims to build future global talents in the travel and tourism sector by encouraging entrepreneurship and leadership.
