SHSS has signed an MOU with Far Eastern University, a leading private research university from the Philippines. This is its first bilateral partnership with an educational institute from the country.

The MOU creates clinical training and capability development opportunities through staff attachments and study visits for up to 15 students each year.  There will also be collaborations in research, joint lectures, seminars, and workshops to help advance clinical practices.

The partnership will also enable both sides to learn about each other’s unique culture and practices. The fostering of friendships and appreciation would be invaluable, especially as workplaces become increasingly globalised.

The MOU was signed on 31 Aug 22 between Dr Bryan Chua, Director of SHSS, and Dr John Anthony Yason, Dean at the Institute of Health Sciences and Nursing, Far Eastern University.
