NYP graduates clinched Healthcare Scholarships Awards

Nine NYP graduates clinched the Healthcare Scholarships Awards which are given to students with strong academic track records and a passion in pursuing careers in public healthcare. The Award Ceremony was held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on 29 Jul, and graced by Health Minister Ong Ye Kung as the Guest of Honour.

Four graduates received the Integrated Nursing Scholarship, two received the Healthcare Merit Award, with two more receiving the Community Nursing Scholarship and one receiving the Community Care Scholarship.

Shares SHSS graduate and recipient of the Community Care Scholarship, Nur Hidayah Sarifudin: “I’m thankful to my Social Work lecturers for their support. Without their dedication, I wouldn’t be who I am today pursuing social work in university.”

SAS graduate and recipient of the Healthcare Merit Award, Lydia Tan says: “One of my inspirations is my sister. As a nurse, she often shares her experiences with me. I now want to do my small part to provide patients with the support they need to get better.”
