Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) has renewed their MoU with NYP to extend the collaboration of the NYP-Shimadzu Innovation & Education Centre (NYP-SHINE Centre), now named SHINE 2.0. Both partners will promote the use of lab informatics and analytics in the management of laboratory workflow, analytical instruments and centralised storage of data, by using cloud computing technology to prepare the workforce for digitally transformed laboratories.
This new phase of the partnership will also see the establishment of Shimadzu Empowered E-Learning @ NYP (SEE@NYP) which incorporates digital transformation into learning, and equip the young talents with in-demand skills and competencies.
