Applicants who meet the minimum entry requirement listed under the Country Requirement are eligible to apply for a course of study at NYP.
Refer to the  list of entry requirements for more details on the eligible qualifications.

  • Returning Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are required to complete at least Year 10 of High School, with Year 10 school exam results meeting the minimum entry requirement listed in the country requirement.
  • International applicants are required to complete Year 12 of High School.

How do I apply :

You may apply through the Online Application System during the application period.
(Note : This system will not be available on 14/11/20  from morning until 1 pm  (Singapore time) due to system maintenance. We apologise if there is any inconvenience caused.)

 

Holders of IGCSE, Malaysia SPM and UEC qualifications should NOT apply here and should only apply under the respective application webpage as these qualifications have different application periods. 

Those whose national exams have been cancelled or deferred due to COVID-19 may still submit an application, which may be considered on a case-by-case basis. They would need to provide proof that they had registered for the national exams after submitting their application and they may be required to sit for the entrance test.

 

Other information :
Applicants, if shortlisted, will be required to sit for an Admissions Test conducted in Singapore. Only applicants offering the following qualifications are not required to sit for the Admissions Test:

  • Brunei’s General Certificate of Education
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma

 

Applicants offering the following qualifications are exempted from submitting IELTS/TOEFL test scores :

  • Brunei’s GCOL
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma
  • High School Diplomas from  USA/UK/Canada/Australia/New Zealand/Philippines

 

Applicants who are applying for Arts, Media and Design courses are required to prepare a portfolio for assessment if you are being shortlisted for interview.
If you are applying for the Mass Media Management or Sport & Wellness Management courses, your portfolio submission will take the form of a summary statement.

If you are applying for the Oral Health Therapy course, you are required to take a manual dexterity test. 

 

Meeting the minimum entry requirement (MER) is not a guarantee that an applicant will be shortlisted. Shortlisting is based on merit and course availability in the year of application.

 
 
 

Application Procedure 

  1. Your application must be submitted via the online application system during the application period stipulated above. Application submitted via other modes such as email, fax and letters will not be processed.
  2. Upon submitting the online application, a Verification Slip (VS) will be generated. Please save a copy as you would need to enter your VS Number when you submit your supporting documents online . The link for the online document submission system will be provided on your VS.

Notification of Outcome

Your application outcome will be released by end Mar 2021. Visit the Application Enquiry System to check your application status.
