I had always wanted to do IT in poly. But there are many options out there to pursue this path. So, I attended NYP’s EAE Seminar – it was a talk helmed by the Principal/CEO, where we were introduced to the poly and its teaching philosophy. Mind blown.

I learnt that NYP offered lots of opportunities for me to hone my skills and test my abilities. Their comprehensive curriculum was also a big plus – it gave me a solid foundation and grounding in IT. This is so crucial because I aspire to be an IT expert.

And true enough, NYP opened so many doors for me. I got the chance to join many competitions, which helped me keep up with what’s trending in the industry. Of course, I also enjoyed winning them haha 😊

Another highlight of my time in NYP was scoring an overseas internship in Toronto with IBM. Yes, that IBM – global leader in IT. Just being in such an environment was stimulating enough, I picked up so much there, beyond IT-related things too.

I also received the Lee Kuan Yew Award that’s given to top graduates in Mathematics and Science. Thanks for the opportunities, NYP – I’ll put what I learnt to good use.
