"My volunteering journey started during my secondary school days when I organised and participated in befriending activities. After I have completed my secondary education, I continued volunteering my services through NYP Community Service Club. Together with my fellow friends and buddies from NYP, I have been actively conducting events and programmes for the seniors.
We have also kickstarted an Alumni Group in Community Service with NYP's Alumni Relations Office. I was thrilled, knowing that our alma mater is supportive of our efforts, supporting us with the platform to connect with other passionate alumni. This gives me a platform to contribute back to NYP, be it in terms of my experiences or volunteering together with like-minded individuals. It also gives me a sense of achievement as I am able to share my experiences and harness the collective potential that we have as alumni of NYP. One of the aims of creating such an alumni group, is for alumni to meet other alumni, and to re-connect with old friends while volunteering, which I find very meaningful. We welcome anyone who is keen to join us in this community service journey. Together, we can do a lot more for the community and our alma mater!"
