SHS (Allied Health) Grand Homecoming 2018
NYP School of Health Sciences (Allied Health) Grand Homecoming 2018 marks a significant milestone in our history as we celebrated 26 years of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diagnostic Radiography and Radiation Therapy education. This homecoming was momentous because of the transition of the four courses over to Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). A total of 333 alumni, students, staff and ex-staff attended the event.
The theme of the event was “Our Moments in Time” which affirmed our unity as we came together to celebrate this final crowning moment. The entrance to TFA was lined with a grand balloon arch and a row of 24 balloon stars highlighting the graduation years from 1995 to 2018.
The event kicked off with a stellar performance by our very own NYP talented “Foreign Bodies”. This was followed by an engaging speech by Ms Lau Cheng Mun (Director, SHS (AH)) as she took us on a walk down memory lane. A sandart video depicting our history and a video montage showing our alumni's special moments and successes brought back nostalgic memories for all.
There were much laughter and joy as everyone caught up over food and booth activities such as caricature, wire art, photo-taking and airbrush tattoo.
