We are elated to announce that our DBF student, Rachel Goh Li Anne, has garnered the prestigious Runner Up (Asia Pacific) title in the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) Educational Trust Award 2023. In addition to this stellar achievement, Rachel was also bestowed with the High Commendation Prize of £500.

Competing against representatives from regions like Africa, Europe, and India, Rachel's accomplishment shines a spotlight on her exceptional talents and dedication. The competition demanded participants to craft a compelling 500-word essay on the topic: ‘Assess whether the tools and policies available to governments and central banks are likely to be sufficient to resolve current, global economic problems arising from, for example, war, inflation, economic slowdown, supply shortages and climate change.’
