With the ongoing pandemic causing delays and changes to the WorldSkills competition, an added round of WorldSkills Singapore competition was held for some of the affected trades.

Amongst these trades, our Graphic Design Technology competitors - Year 2 students from Visual Communications (Charlotte Chan & Lau En Qi) and our recent Motion Graphics Design graduate (Rene Foo) - rose to the challenge, honed their skills and excelled at the recent WorldSkills Singapore 2021 competition.

Charlotte clinched the Gold medal, En Qi was awarded the Silver medal and Rene received the Medallion of Excellence. 

The top competitors from WorldSkills Singapore will have the chance to represent Singapore at the 46th International WorldSkils competition in Shanghai.

We would like to congratulate all our competitors who had put in their best in their training journey; not forgetting our coaches who tirelessly trained them, as well as the organising teams and jury for making this competition a success, amidst challenging circumstances!
