Course Aims
This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to manage suicide risks of clients who are at risk of suicide.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- identify personal and professional beliefs and attitudes associated with suicide;
- apply suicide risk assessment tool; and
- demonstrate skills in suicide first aid according to social work ethical guidelines.
Who Should Attend
This course is for social work practitioners who are involved, or may possibly be involved, in the care for clients at risk of suicide and are required to provide front-line support for the clients.
Certification
Participants will be awarded an e-Certificate of Participation upon completion of the course.
