    ITE (Full time) NITEC

    Relevant NITEC with
    GPA ≥ 3.5

    OR

    GPA ≥ 3.0

    At least 1 year of relevant working experience

    ITE (Full time) Higher NITEC

    Relevant Higher NITEC with
    GPA ≥ 2.0

    OR

    -

    Relevant Higher NITEC with
    GPA ≥ 1.5

    At least 1 year of relevant working experience

    ITE (Part-time) 

    NITEC in Technology with
    GPA ≥ 3.5 (for technical courses)

    At least 1 year of relevant working experience

    ITE (Part-time) 

    Higher NITEC in Technology
    (for technical courses) with
    GPA ≥ 2.0

    At least 1 year of relevant working experience

    WSQ

    Relevant WSQ Advanced
    Certificate (or higher)

    WPLN accepted at Level ≥ 6

    Alternative Requirement

    Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on supporting evidence of competency readiness.

    Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.

  • Course Schedule

    The course will be a 2.5 years part-time Diploma Programme, with a total of 900 study hours. 

    The course will consist of five 180-hour modular certificates (MC). Each MC comprises three modules and is made up of 150 hours of classroom/lab lessons and 30 hours of facilitated self-directed learning.

    The classroom/lab lessons will take the form of three classes per week over a period of 15 weeks.

    • Certificate in System & Network Essential (16 Oct 2023 – 01 Apr 2024)
    • Certificate in System & Network Administration (15 Apr 2024 – 01 Oct 2024)
    • Certificate in System Network Operation & Support (14 Oct 2024 – 01 Apr 2025)
    • Certificate in Secure Network Management (14 Apr 2025 – 01 Oct 2025)
    • Certificate in Cloud Computing Infrastructure & Virtualisation (13 Oct 2025 – 01 Apr 2026)
