The minimum entry requirement is a recognized Bachelor degree (or higher), preferably in IT, Business, Engineering or Mathematics. Relevant polytechnic diploma graduates with a minimum of 2 years’ related working experience would also be considered.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on:
(i) Evidence of at least 5 years of relevant working experience; OR
(ii) Supporting evidence of competency readiness.
Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or entrance test. The Polytechnic reserves the right to shortlist and admit applicants.
The next intake for Specialist Diploma in Business & Big Data Analytics will be in Apr 2020. Application will open in mid-Dec 2019. You may register your course interest via Notify Me. We will inform you once the application is open for the next intake.
This course offers three Post-Diploma Certificates (PDCs) of 150 hours each, from which course participants choose two PDCs for a combined total of 300 hours for the entire course. For lessons that fall on a public holiday, course participants will be informed of the makeup lessons, where applicable. Some of the lessons will be conducted off-campus through facilitated e-learning. Course participants will be informed at the start of the semester.
Lessons are conducted every Friday from 9am to 6pm.

The following supplementary fees (subject to annual review and change) will be charged:
- Exam/Assessment fee of $5.35 per module
