Team NYP Took Second at Huawei’s Global ICT Competition

Team NYP clinched second place in the Cloud Track at the Global Huawei ICT Competition 2018/2019. Having won the regional leg earlier in April 2019, the team – comprising students from the School of Engineering (SEG) and School of Information Technology (SIT) – went on to compete on the global stage in Shenzhen, China.
With experience from the earlier rounds under their belts, coupled with hours of training, our students pitted their skills against 49 teams from 30 countries. Since June 2018, the competition has attracted more than 100,000 students from 61 countries. It was a prime opportunity for our students to enhance their ICT knowledge, practical and application skills.
