Did you watch NDP2022 on TV? You would have seen the majestic phoenix that has gotten quite a bit of attention online. This super piece of work was done by students from NYP's School of Design and Media. A team of three lecturers and 29 students from our Diplomas in Motion Graphics Design and Animation & Visual Effects spent six months to bring these dynamic motion graphics to the big screen!

Our students from the Diploma in Mass Media Management also produced short clips for the #DoingGood campaign, such as this one https://www.facebook.com/NDPeeps/videos/449799697021286. The videos feature individuals who are contributing to the community. The clips are currently on NDP’s Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

“Being involved in NDP was a brand-new experience for me. It has given me insights on what it is like to be part of a production team for a national project. It is also inspiring to know the stories of how Singaporeans can contribute to society in their own ways,” shared student, Chen Yong Jia.

And, last but not least, Charlotte Chan, from the Diploma in Visual Communication, designed this year’s NDP logo! The logo portrays two figures holding hands and embracing a heart, showcasing the connection and the strong bonds between Singaporeans regardless of their background. The figures also outline the number “57”, marking 57 years of independence.

We’re so proud of all of them!
