  • Intake & JAE ELR2B2 Score

Unsure which of our courses you qualify for? Use the intake places for each course and the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) ELR2B2 score as guides to help you make a decision on your application.

    Keep in Mind:
The ELR2B2 score is the net aggregate score (after deducting CCA bonus points) of the last student admitted to a course through the JAE. The ELR2B2 score for each course is determined after the JAE posting, which is based on applicants' ranking and the number of intake places in each course.

  • Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)

The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is an annual exercise conducted by the Ministry of Education to allow Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level graduates to apply for admission to courses offered by junior colleges, Millennia Institute, polytechnics and the Institute of Technical Education.
  • Early Admissions Exercise (EAE)

The Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) allows you to apply and receive conditional offers for admission to a polytechnic, based on your aptitude and interests. It also gives the polytechnics greater flexibility to select students based on criteria other than examination results.
  • Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP)

The Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) prepares polytechnic-bound Normal (Academic) students for entry to their desired polytechnic diploma courses.

This one-year course is based on a practice-oriented curriculum taught by polytechnic lecturers, and acts as an alternative to your Sec 5 year.

As a PFP student, you will be given a provisional place in diploma programmes, conditional on passing all the modules in this course.
