About this course
Course objectives
This module aims to train participants to take on a systematic approach for handling of drug enquiries. Participants will be taught how to obtain background information in relation to the drug information request, conduct systematic literature search, formulate and communicate a drug information response to the request. Reporting and evaluation of adverse drug reactions will also be covered.
Course description
The module Drug Information (part of PDC2 of Advanced Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences) offers a training duration of 30 hours. This module would assist pharmacists in provision of basic clinical services in pharmacist-led clinics.
