Course objectives
This module will focus on medication safety practice guidelines and tools that are used for incorporating medication safety into work processes such as prescribing, dispensing and administration of medicines. It will also cover topics such as methods to improve medication use and reducing risks in specific populations.
Course description
The module Medication Safety (part of PDC2 of Advanced Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences) offers training duration of 30 hours. This module will prepare the learners in the aspect of compliance to medication safety procedures.
