This course covers Python for participants who are new to programming. Beginning with essential concepts such as data types, control structures, functions and object-oriented programming, the course also introduces widely used packages such as Pandas and Matplotlib and popular development tools like Jupyter notebooks. Participants will have opportunities to develop their coding know-how through hands-on exercises themed on practical application examples such as importing, visualizing and analysing data, an interactive game or automating repetitive tasks.
