About this course
Course objectives
The objective of this course is enable learners to to apply their knowledge to identify problem statements and suggest and implement solutions via programming in their work areas. The skills that learners pick up in this course will form a good foundation for them to acquire further computing knowledge in all domain areas. This course incorporates direct or online instructional and experiential learning. Learning activities are inserted after key topics are taught, so that learners can immediately put into practice what they have learnt in a hands-on manner.
Course description
This course is designed for anyone new to programming and does not know where to start. It introduces application development processes and practices, and basic programming concepts to the participants. These are done through an appreciation of coding that uses simple drag-and-drop programming blocks. At the end of the course, participants will be able to put together simple coding projects in a fun and engaging way.
