Course objectives
This is one of the modules offered for the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme Certificate in Food Safety and Analysis which is a structured 3-month programme aimed at equipping participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills in food safety, microbiology, and quality management systems. The course prepares participants to meet the increasing demands for food safety professionals such QA&QC Supervisors, QA&QC Specialist / Food Safety Specialist, Laboratory Technician / QC Technician in the food industry by focusing on practical and theoretical aspects of food science, safety regulations and analytical methods.
Course description
This module is delivered through integrated and structured on-the-job training. Participants will undertake an assignment to design the HACCP for an identified production/ process in the company.At the end of the learning unit, learners will be able to:-Design a HACCP plan in an identified food process using the 12 steps and 7 principles of HACCP.
