WorldSkills Singapore 2021

After a delay of more than a year, the WorldSkills Singapore finally kicked off on 30 Dec 2021, where a total of six competitors from ITE, NP and NYP competed in the Health & Social Care category. This closed-door event saw clinical experts from various clinical settings and experts from nursing institutions coming together to select the best to represent Singapore in the upcoming WorldSkills Shanghai in October 2022. NYP Year 2 Nursing students, Lee Wen Yu Elizabeth and Apryl Fong Li Ying clinched a Gold and Bronze medal respectively. We are so proud of their achievements!

"Being able to represent NYP at WorldSkills Singapore was a humbling and exciting experience! I got to meet many people who are passionate about nursing, and made new friends along the way. I am grateful to my coaches, friends and family who have been so supportive of me :)
