Oral Health Therapy Poster Presentation of Projects, 2019
Final-year OHT students presented their findings from their research projects involving dental professionals and dental patients from the National University Centre for Oral Health, in a poster presentation. One of the projects, A qualitative study of dental professionals' and patients' knowledge and perceptions of the impact of periodontal disease on systemic health and quality of life, was written up by the collaborators, and accepted for publication in the Community Dentistry & Oral Epidemiology, a Tier 1 publication, in July 2021.
