New #tech is appearing in our workplace faster than we can even label them. So how will employees keep up? Adopting workplace training systems and capability with Swiss and German expertise is the way forward. On July 30, NYP launched Singapore's first National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) to help SMEs develop more robust and sustainable in-house training systems. Education Minister Ong Ye Kung officiated the launch of NACE at CHARLES & KEITH GROUP.

The new Centre is a collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET) and the German Chamber of Industry & Commerce (IHK Akademie). SFIVET and IHK Akademie are well regarded internationally for their focus on vocational education and training, and workplace learning systems. CHARLES & KEITH GROUP is among the first companies to come onboard NACE's programme to build up its workplace training capability. In the next five years, NACE aims to help more than 1,000 companies - particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) - build their workplace learning capabilities.
