Our SBM students have done us proud again. Beating out 15 teams from the other IHLS, the NYP team emerged champion at the HR Hackathon organised by the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI). The team impressed the judges with their unique delivery through a skit, coupled with a live demonstration of a mobile application to help older workers embrace technology through a social, learning and gamification platform. By applying the design thinking process taught in SBM, the team was able to fast-track into generating solutions for the identified problem area. Team leader Alvin Lim shared his experience: "We spent sleepless nights developing the app. It was tiring but in the end, our efforts definitely paid off!"
