NYP Student to Represent Singapore at the WorldSkills Competition 2019 in New Cloud Computing Category

Twenty-three participants from the various polytechnics and ITE competed against each other at the WorldSkills Singapore Cloud Computing Competition for the two rounds – Qualifying Round and Finals held in October 2018 and January 2019 respectively. The Cloud Computing category is a new category introduced last year and this competition was conducted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Architects from the US as the test projects were developed by AWS.

Our School of Information Technology (SIT) students emerged as the top 4 winners. The gold medallist will represent Singapore in the Cloud Computing category at the WorldSkills International Competition 2019 held at Kazan, Russia this August.
