NYP Hosted Rare Visit by President Halimah Yacob

We hosted a very special guest yesterday.
President Halimah Yacob visited our campus and met up with our students and staff from the Diplomas in Nursing and Social Work, as well as our continuing education programmes. She also caught up with our student finalists who will take part in the WorldSkills 2019 in Kazan, Russia, and WorldSkills Singapore 2020.
During a tour of the School of Health & Social Sciences, Madam President viewed the Centre for Connected Care, the HIMSS Centre of Excellence as well as our specialist labs. These facilities provide healthcare training for our nursing students and promote life-long learning and industry collaboration respectively.
