Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) is honoured to be the first Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) invited to stage works at the new Tyersall-Gallop Core of the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Consisting of various art forms, four installations – collectively titled NYP Spectrum 4 eARTh – highlights nature and our co-dependency with her. The works displayed were the result of collaborative efforts of our School of Design (SDN) and School of Interactive & Digital Media (SIDM) staff and students. At the opening of the Gallops Extension, the Guest of Honour, Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong, was also given a tour and introduction to the art works by our lecturers and students.

NYP Spectrum 4 eARTh is part of NYP's outreach effort organised in conjunction with Spectrum, an annual arts festival organised by the Arts Council. The exhibits will be on display at the Gallop Visitor Centre at Singapore Botanic Gardens till mid-Dec 2019.
