Course objectives

In this course, participants will examine the major stages of the consumer decision making process and explain how this process is shaped by external and internal influences. Participants will also be able to describe the role and applications of consumer behaviour in the marketplace such as tourism industry.

Course description

Participants will be taught the need to adopt a more customer-centric focus by analysing how consumers make decisions in an ever-changing, dynamic environment.Trainer Profile:Christine Tan, LecturerChristine is a passionate marketing specialist with 10 years of digital marketing, marketing communication and branding experience. She was trained in traditional retail marketing but became an accidental digital marketer when she joins BMW in 2010. At BMW, she was given the opportunity to spearhead all topics relating to the website, mobile app, digital marketing and social media. She, later on, joined a Singapore budget airline and led the digital and social media team and is responsible to head the digital and social media operations for a brand merger project.
