Course description
The modern traveller has become more environmentally conscious and is looking for sustainable accommodation offerings. Hospitality businesses are responding to this demand by creating unique and tailored experiences that are also sustainable in the long run. Learners will gain an appreciation of sustainable management issues and practices covering hospitality development, design, marketing and operations.
Learners will learn about the positive and negative effects of hospitality business activities on destinations and host communities, and the long-term environmentally and socio-economically sustainable practices applied by these businesses. Learners will also gain insights into trends in sustainable practices and how political influence impacts hospitality businesses.
