Course objectives

Diploma in Engineering (Advanced & Digital Manufacturing) consists of 900 hours of training.This course consists of the following Modular Certificates (MCs):- MC1: Certificate in Product Design & Manufacturing with Sustainability Focus (180 hours)- MC2: Certificate in Subtractive Manufacturing (180 hours)- MC3: Certificate in Additive Manufacturing (180 hours)- MC4: Certificate in Smart Manufacturing Implementation (180 hours)- MC5: Certificate in Data Analytics for Manufacturing Optimisation (180 hours)

Course description

This course aims to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills in engineering fundamentals, such as programming, engineering drawing & 3D modelling, as well as digital skills such as data analysis with reporting skills using software tools to establish foundational skills to be more effective in the manufacturing shopfloor. In addition, learners will deepen skills in sustainable product design, additive and subtractive manufacturing technologies, and gain exposure to IoT applications and AI applications for manufacturing, ensuring they are well-prepared to support modern and advanced manufacturing processes.
