Course objectives
The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Nephro-urology) is designed to provide the academic and clinical preparation for registered nurses to practise in Nephro-urology nursing. This course will provide graduates with a recognised tertiary qualification, and a career in Nephro-urology nursing in a variety of public and private healthcare settings.
Course description
The Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Nephro-urology) course will be offered full-time in 3 Post-diploma Certificates (PDCs) over 7 months (30 weeks). Total curriculum is 790 hours comprising 390 hours of academic studies and 400 of clinical practice. The following PDCs are covered under this programme:
PDC1: Post-Diploma Certificate in Principles and Science of Nephro-urology Nursing-ADNU1 (225 hours)
PDC2: Post-Diploma Certificate in Advanced Concepts in Nephro-urology Nursing-ADNU1 (165 hours)
PDC3: Post-Diploma Certificate in Practice of Nephro-urology Nursing-ADNU1 (400 hours)
